The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
