The Seattle Seahawks staged a remarkable comeback to overcome the Rams in extra time, securing their place in the postseason.

Rallying from a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the number five seed with an eleven and four standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to make two scoring throws, including the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The Rams held a six-point lead at the break before Walker broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run for Seattle.
