The UK Prime Minister will push supporting countries to provide Ukrainian forces with further extended-range weaponry to strike Russian targets during discussions in Britain on the upcoming Friday.

Britain's leader will host Ukrainian President Zelensky alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", comprising numerous of Kyiv's partners who have pledged to offer Ukraine defense assurances once hostilities pause is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for several weeks for additional extended-range systems from Western nations, a step that Russia has stated would worsen the hostilities.

The Ukrainian president is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with European representatives on Thursday pursuing funding aid.
